When Margaret and William DeMo were children, their grandfather, Giuseppe, kept a small cluster of grape vines in his backyard which he used in hobbyist wine making. His grandchildren visited every year at the end of summer and sometimes helped with harvest and crush. It was during those long summer days, that Margaret, then twelve decided she wanted to be a wine maker when she grew up.
In 1998, Margaret and her brother and his wife, Claudette, opened DeMo wines in beautiful Sonoma County; the fulfillment of a life long dream.
Together the three of them watch over the production of their wine every step of the way - from planting the vines to bottling, until they make their way to you.
